First Post:

Hey,
I've been meaning to do this for awhile... I guess what really pushed me is I wrote a poem that I want to share with someone, but i'm not really sure who to share it with. I figured who better to share it with than strangers, right?
High School
The flames of gossip engulf you
The demons of comments bring you down
Nothing feels as it should
But everything feels normal anyway

You live this life
You walk the same halls
You wish you could switch lives
Live a better one
A better life...

But you know
That would be a sign of weakness.

  1. I would never choose to go back through high school again, but if I could do it differently I would!
It's tough, but keep your head up!

  2. Wow, I felt the exact same way in high school... Don't feel too down, because once you graduate things get SO much easier. Though I was only in college for a short while, I was amazed at how different things can turn out.
I was bullied and labeled "weird" back in elementary school, and that reputation follows you until the end. In college though, -everything- changes. It really is like you get a whole new identity or a way to start over. I discovered that there really was nothing wrong with me, but with the kids back at home. Nobody had a single mean thing to say... wish I had known that earlier, but better late than never.

Either way, just stay strong. High school ends eventually, and with that most of the gossipy drama. :]
